I first met Hossein a number of years ago on a lovely sunny day in the west end of Glasgow.

He had hired a room in a well know hotel to display his Persian carpets. My first thought was “What a huge effort to bring and display all these beautiful carpets.“

Having explained this was a family business started by his father in Iran, my impression of Hossein was that he was a person of integrity. He presented himself as humorous and kind, a likeable individual. His deep knowledge on carpets shone through. I have bought many carpets from him over the years. I’ve given some as gifts to my family. The ones I have kept are rotated round our house during the year.  We all love them.
